More than one dozen IAS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in West Bengal. Accordingly, Mrs Joyoshi Das Gupta has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Consumer Affairs, while Syed Sarwar Imam was made Additional Secretary, MS & ME and T Department and Mrs Neelam Meena is Secretary, Correctional Administration Department. Similarly, Dushyant Nariala has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Disaster Management and Civil Defence Department; Rajesh Kumar Sinha as Secretary, Tribal Development Department; A Subbiah as Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department; Abhinav Chandra as Secretary, Agriculture Marketing Department; Rajanvir Singh Kapur as MD, West Bengal Transport Corporation; Mrs Apala Sett as Member-Secretary, West Bengal Valuation Board; Mrs Rachna Bhagat as Director, ICDS; C Murugan as CEO,WBIIDC; Amit Choudhury as Additional Director, ATI; Mrs  Smita Pandey as Additional Secretary, Fisheries Department and Naba Gopal Hira was appointed as Secretary, Transport Department .
