JNPA felicitates outstanding contribution from various stakeholders (UPDATED)

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s best performing Port, conducted JNPA 33rd Annual Awards on July 5, 2022, at the Maritime Public-Private-Partnership Conclave. Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways & Tourism, Government of India was the guest of honor for the award ceremony. JNPA felicitated the exceptional work of stakeholders, terminal operators, and shipping lines towards the growth of JNPA in the presence of Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPA, Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Dy. Chairman, JNPA, and all the HoDs and stakeholders of JNPA. Shripad Naik, Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways & Tourism, Government of India congratulated the winners and shed the light on JNPA’s contribution to the nation’s economic growth. He said, “Heartiest congratulations to all the winners for doing phenomenal work in the respective categories. It is through the collective hard work of all, JNPA is functioning efficiently. It has evolved into a globally recognized port by its sheer dedication to India’s economy and the Indian maritime sector.” Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPA, applauded the JN Port award winners and highlighted their contribution to the port’s development. He stated, “My best wishes to everyone who has won an award today across different categories. JNPA appreciates your efforts which have contributed to making JNPA the best-performing port in the nation. I anticipate the work done by our fellow industry players will not only highlight best practices but also exchange views on challenges and developments in the maritime and logistics sector.”
