The Karnataka Government has shifted a few of the IPS officers. According to the order, Dr MB Boralingaiah, 2008 batch, has been transferred from the post of Commissioner, Belagavi district to the post of DIG, Southern Range, Mysuru. C Vamsi Krishna, 2009 batch has been transferred from the post of Commissioner, Belagavi City to the post of DIG, Criminal Investigation Department. CB Ryshyanth, an IPS of 2013 batch was waiting for the posting has been placed as Superintendent of Police (SP) Dakshina Kannada District,  , Mangaluru.
