The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued fresh guidelines on printing of postal ballot papers, their transportation and storage. The guideline also has specific instructions on checking of printed postal ballots, disposal of surplus and waste postal ballot papers at the printing press, colours of postal ballot paper and envelopes, custody of postal ballot papers after counting and so forth.
