Malini Krishnamoorthy, DG, Prisons & Correctional Services, in Karnataka, will also concurrently handle charge of posts of DGP and DG, Fire & Emergency Services, Commandant General, Home Guards, DG, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Director, Civil Defence, Karnataka State, falling vacant due to retirement of Kamal Pant. Malini is 1993 batch IPS officer of Karnataka cadre.
