Pronab Mohanty, on his promotion to the grade of DGP, will also continue to hold the concurrent charge of the upgraded post of DGP, Cyber Crimes and Narcotics, Criminal Investigation Department, in Karnataka. He is 1994 batch IPS officer of Karnataka cadre.
