Administrative merger of NTIPRIT, NICF & WMTDC into one training academy
The Department of Telecommunications has recommended the administrative merger of National Telecommunications Institute for Policy Research, Innovation and Training (NTIPRIT), National Institute of Communication Finance (NICF) and Wireless Monitoring Training & Development Centre (WMTDC) into a single entity named National Communications Academy (NCA) with immediate effect. The composition of the Governing Council of the NCA will include Chairperson (Secretary - Telecom); 4 members (Finance, Services, and Technology and Wireless Advisor); and Member Secretary (Additional Secretary-Telecom).
