The CBIC issued three retired officers in the first week of September this year whereas they retired between 2o16 to 2019. Milind P Damle retired in March 2019. He has been given ad-hoc promotion of Dy Commissioner w e f December 10, 2006 and order issued on Sept 4, 2024. The Second case is related to  D. Sam Sunder Raj. He has been given ad-hoc promotion to Asstt Commissioner w e f Feb 23, 2017, just five months before his retirement but his lollipop order was issued on Sept. 3, this year. In the third case, Hari M.P. has been given the ad-hoc promotion, effective from Oct 22, 2014 but his Asstt Commissioner order was issued on Sept 3, 2024. He also retired in May 2018 as Suppdtt, Custom.
