5 IPS officers in Bihar get new assignments
Three IPS officers in Bihar have been promoted, while two others were given new assignments. Sudhanshu Kumar, ADG, traffic, and holding additional charge of civil defence, Bihar, has been relieved of the additional charge, while Anusuya Ransingh Sahu, currently posted as DIG, Civil Defence, Bihar, Patna, has been promoted as IG of the same department. Similarly, Vivek Kumarhas been promoted and shifted as DIG, Crime Investigation Department (CID); Mohammad Faroguddin has been promoted and posted as DIG-cum-deputy commandant general, Home Guard and Fire Services Department and Mrityunjay Kumar Choudhary was transferred as DIG, Vigilance Investigation Bureau.
