Major reshuffle of IPS officers in Bihar (UPDATED)

 In a major reshuffle, as many as 62 IPS officers have been shifted in Bihar. Avkash Kumar has been appointed as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Patna, while Kundan Krishnan has been assigned an additional charge of the Special Task Force (STF) and Amit Kumar Jain takes over as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Weaker Sections. Similarly, Amit Raj will be posted as ADGP (Security), Bihar, Patna; Ms Shalini Singh as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Counter-Terrorism Arrangements, with an additional charge as IGP (Security), Patna; Rakesh Rathi as IGP, Purnia Region, and will also hold charge of Technical Services, Communication, and Economic Offenders Wing; Rajesh Kumar as IGP, Bihar Human Rights Commission, Patna; Vinay Kumar as IGP (Operations), STF, Bihar, Patna; P Kannan as IGP, Railways, Bihar, Patna; Daljit Singh as IGP, Crime Investigation Department, Patna; Ranjit Kumar as IGP, Bihar Special Arms Police, Patna; Sanjay Kumar as DIG, Economic Offenders, Patna; Vikas Kumar as DSP, Bihar, Patna; Navin Chandra Jha as DSP, Surveillance Investigation Bureau, Patna; Baburam as DSP, Crime Investigation Department, Bihar, Patna; Anand Kumar as SSP, Gaya; Dr Inamul Haq Megnoo as SP, Arwal; Amir Javed as SP (Weaker Section & Women Cell), CID, Patna; Sanjay Kumar Singh as SP, STF (Operation); Upendra Nath Verma as SP, Banka; Dr Gaurav Mangla as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-7; Harimohan Shukla as SP, Kaimur and Yogendra Kumar will take charge as SP, Madhubani.
