Major Rajasthan Ministerial reshuffle soon 

Rajasthan is likely to undergo a major reshuffle after January 15, 2025. Sources hint that Vasundhara Raje Scindia could get prominent posts while non-performers could be on their way out. Raje loyalists could include Babusingh Rathore Shergarh MLA or Hameer Singh Bhayal from Siwana and Kalicharan Saraf from Malviya Nagar could get strong portfolios. Similarly, Gurveer Singh Brar (second term MLA Sadulshahar (Ganganagar) is a strong contender to head the Minority Affairs Ministry and K K Vishnoi might get promoted from Minister of State to Minister of State, Independent Charge. The outgoing names could include cabinet Minister Joraram Kumawat- Sumerpur MLA; Avinash Gehlot -Jaitaran MLA and Governor Sikkim Om Prakash Mathur loyalist; Sanjay Sharma from Alwar; Hemant Meena from Pratapgarh and Jhabar Singh Kharra.

Who will be chief guest for Republic Day celebrations?

Speculation is rife on the 2025 Republic Day chief guest announcement. It is said that Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thnai is invited, but an official announcement is awaited. Sources said that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto could be the chief guest for the 2026 Republic Day celebrations.
