Will IT officers misuse power?

If more powers are being given to the Income Tax officers, strict supervision will have to be exercised by the Secretary, Revenue to see that they do not misuse the powers. Maybe, an oversight Committee of IAS officers can be formed in the Department of Revenue to assist the Secretary in this regard.
