Former Vigilance Chief and other IPS officer awaiting posting in Punjab
Two officers, belonging to Indian Police Service (IPS) are awaiting fresh postings after being transferred earlier in Punjab. Varinder Kumar, an IPS officer, who was removed as the Vigilance Chief on February 17 is awaiting a posting. Also, another IPS officer, Kuldeep Chahal, was removed from his position as Commissioner of Police in Ludhiana last week, and he is also waiting for fresh posting.
