Shikhandi moment has come
The situation is another Mahabharat. This is essentially a “Dharma Yuddha” in which on one side are arranged all “Anti-India” forces and on the other side are the forces of the “Pro India” warriors, fighting a national war for public good only. Arjun is the only fighter who can’t be stopped by the enemy anyway. The enemy knows it well, so their charge is targeted at him only. Democracy tends to aggravate hallucinations of secularism and “Ichha Mrityu” syndrome taking the voters for granted. Irony is that Arjun can’t finish a woman as his Dharma does not permit it. In fact, the war is being fought for the honour and dignity of women, who are the only sheet anchor of any society (“moolam” in Sanskrit). If the result of the war depends on a woman, people have to bring an equivalent of Shikhandi to the war front. Anybody there?
