Biranchi Das, Director (HR), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), held two significant meetings at the company headquarters in Bilaspur to address issues related to Provident Fund (PF) and Pension matters. The primary focus was to ensure timely resolution through technology-driven and employee-friendly mechanisms with minimal manual intervention. In the first meeting, held with senior officials from C-DAC and CMPFO, Das provided clear directives for resolving technical issues in the C-Cares portal and suggested improvements to make the platform more efficient and user-friendly. He stressed the importance of providing full support to employees and retirees in resolving their PF/Pension-related concerns promptly. The second meeting was conducted with regional officials of CMPFO from Bilaspur and Jabalpur zones, where detailed discussions were held regarding CMPF number allotment, issuance of Pension Payment Orders (PPO) and Revised PPOs, as well as long-pending widow and PF pension cases. Shri Das emphasized timely resolution, especially in light of pension revision post NCWA-11, and called for greater awareness initiatives for employees. These meetings reaffirm SECL’s commitment to ensuring transparent, efficient, and compassionate handling of employee welfare issues, especially for retired personnel and pensioners.
