In a major reshuffle, 15 IPS officers have been given new responsibilities in UP.  Prabal Pratap Singh has been appointed as SP Mahoba, while BBGTS Murthi was made SSP, Jhansi and Arvind Mishra takes over as SP, Kanpur Dehat. Similarly, Ankur Agarwal was posted as SP, Sitapur; Mrs Sudha Singh as DIG, Railway, Lucknow; Palash Bansal as SP, Banda; Abhishek Yadav as SP, Pilibhit; Mrs Aarti Singh as SP, Fatehgarh; Mrs Puja Yadav as Commandant, 45th Battalion, PAC Aligarh; Chakresh Mishra as SP, ANTF Headquarters Lucknow; Amit Kumar II as Commandant, 24th Battalion, PAC Moradabad; Alok Priyadarshi as Additional Police Commissioner, Law and Order Ghaziabad Commissionerate; Prashant Verma as SP Railway Prayagraj, Avinash Pandey as Commandant, 1st Battalion, SSF Lucknow and Rohit Mishra has been made SP Railway, Lucknow.
