P K Upadhyay, Unit Head, BHEL, Bhopal, informed that the achievements and profit earned by Bhopal Unit in the financial year 2024-25. He shared the revenue figure of Rs. 28339 crores and profit before tax of Rs. 725 crores by achieved by BHEL Corporation in the year 2024-25.He said that due to the able leadership of Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL K Sadashiv Murthy and senior officials of BHEL Board, this achievement of BHEL in this tough competitive environment is definitely a matter of pride for all the employees. He praised the effective and efficient leadership of the then Executive Director S M Ramanathan and said that the credit for this achievement of the unit goes to him. He further said that the role of all sections of the society and especially the media has been extremely important in the position that BHEL, Bhopal has reached today. Discussing the turnover of Rs. 4278 crores and profit before tax of Rs. 272 crores by Bhopal unit in the financial year 2024-25, he said that all the employees of Bhopal unit are capable of facing every kind of challenge. He further informed that the target of Rs. 4400 crore set for the financial year 2025-26 will also be achieved by the Bhopal unit for sure and all the employees are committed for this. He emphasized on completely avoiding re-work and maximum cash collection along with value addition per employee. On this occasion, he said that BHEL is also fully dedicated towards social responsibilities. Gautam Majumdar, General Manager (CMG, PMG, CC & DTG) and Additional Charge (HR) thanked all the stakeholders for the development of BHEL, Bhopal and its achievements. Shri Majumdar said that the Bhopal unit is dedicated and committed to protect the interests of the employees as well as all the stakeholders. R K Agarwal, General Manager (SOM) made a presentation on performance. He also informed about the major achievements of BHEL, Bhopal in the financial year 2024-25 as well as the upcoming action plan. Vinodanand Jha, Additional General Manager (Publicity & Public Relations) introduced the guests to the outline of the program while Sanjay Rajbanshi, Deputy Manager (Publicity & Public Relations) welcomed everyone.
