As many as 18 IPS officers of various cadres and batches are retiring in May, 2025. They are: Binod Kumar of Bihar cadre; M S Bharada of Gujarat; Sanjiv Ranjan Ojha and Atul Verma of Himachal Pradesh; Raju A S of Kerala; Arvind Kumar, Anvesh Manglam, Sanjay Kumar Singh of Madhya Pradesh; Atish Kumar Asthana of Punjab; Hemant Priyadarshy of Rajasthan; P V Rama Sastry, Sanjay Moreshwar Tarde, Prashant Kumar-1, Bharti Singh, Kiran Yadav, Dr Arvind Chaturvedi, Tej Swaroop Singh and Ashish Gupta of Uttar Pradesh cadre and Bimla Gunjyal of Uttarakhand cadre.
