V Srinivas Elected President of IIAS
V Srinivas, currently Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, has been elected President, International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) for the 2025–2028 term. He is a 1989 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. His nomination by PM Narendra Modi highlights India's strong focus on promoting international cooperation and excellence in governance and civil services. In the election held on June 3, India won decisively, securing 61.7% of the votes and defeating Australia.
