whispers in the corridors
People moving from pillar to post to find right govt addresses
Delhi has two governments - Union and the State. And both the governments do official correspondence frequently. But in many Delhi district offices, the address of union govt's offices are not updated and people are seen running from pillar to post to find out the offices. Recently, one Collector office sent an official letter to the department of consumer affairs in April this year. The address was Shashtri Bhawan whereas the said office is located in the Krishi Bhawan. The office was never obliged to the Shashtri Bhawan. On top of this the district office is not ready to accept its fault and not ready to update the office record. Result general public suffering.
