Kerala Governor RV Arlekar is said to be unhappy with the transfer of six Police officers posted at Raj Bhavan and is said to have expressed his anger to the new DGP. The posted officers were shifted within 48 hours. The Governor had handed over a list of six people to the previous DGP and the order was issued on June 28. Interestingly, the same order was cancelled within 24 hours. The Police Department’s explanation is that the order was cancelled following the government's instructions.
