Transfer, posting policy modified
The DoT has modified the transfer and posting policy of ITS officers. As per Office Memorandum, now the tenure for Hard stations posting will be 2 years for officers with more than 10 years’ service and 3 years for officers with the service of 10 years or less. Stations at Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu- 3 years, however officers can opt to stay up to six years. For Delhi- NCR, tenure will be 8 years. And for all other stations and LSAs having multiple stations, tenure of posting will be 6 years.
