Seven Addl. Judges given fresh one-year term, Calcutta HC (UPDATED)
Seven Additional Judges have been appointed as Additional Judges of the Calcutta High Court for a fresh term of one year. They are: Justice Biswaroop Chowdhury, Justice Prasenjit Biswas, Justice Uday Kumar, Justice Ajay Kumar Gupta, Justice Supratim Bhattacharya, Justice Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, and Justice Md. Shabbar Rashidi — all with effect from August 31, 2025.
