Karnataka Health Department posting reforms
Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao announced fresh guidelines for transparent postings of administrative officers (including IAS/IPS deputed to health) following the successful transfer of 5,600 clinical and allied personnel via counselling. The initiative aims to curb corruption and favouritism in prime postings, with a focus on merit-based assignments. This could lead to minor reshuffles in health-related IAS/IPS roles by mid-October 2025.
