Influx of international tourists slide into decline after rename

The City of Aurangabad, Maharashtra is reported to have lost an influx of international tourists after its name changed as ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar’. Soon after renaming the city, the tourism industry started sliding into decline as Aurangabad is known in the world for its world heritage sites such as Ajanta & Ellora, Bibi Ka Maqbara, Daulatabad fort and Araamgaha of Aurangzeb. City’s new name ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar’ is strange for international tourists.
