If officers were not promoted to the grade of Executive Director till February 2026, then there will be no internal eligible candidate for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Present incumbent is retiring in February 2027 and an internal candidate is required to have at least one-year experience at ED level to apply for the post. IF promotions were not made timely then internal candidates will be deprived of taking part in the interviews and an outsider candidate will grab the post.
