NBCC (India) Limited celebrated its 66th Foundation Day on November 15, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event was graced by K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), Dr. Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance), Government nominee Directors, Sanjeet and Ravi Kumar Arora, Independent Directors, Prof. Bhimrao Panda Bhosale, Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Deepak Singh, Vishal Puri , Mrs Ritu Pande, CVO, NBCC, senior officials of the Ministry & NBCC, invited guests, employees and families of employees. Manohar Lal, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs & Power, Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State, Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary, Housing & Urban Affairs conveyed their best wishes and greetings through virtual mode. The foundation day programme started with the playing of National Song “Vande Mataram” as a part of year-long commemoration of 150 Years of the National Song. The audience joined in chorus by singing the lines of the National Song On this occasion, a Coffee Table Book “Punah Rachna”, reflecting re-creation and innovation, and featuring NBCC’s key redevelopment projects was released. The publication chronicles NBCC’s transformative redevelopment journey across India, highlighting its landmark contribution in reshaping New Delhi’s urban landscape through the redevelopment of seven GPRA colonies executed under a financially self-sustaining model. The book also showcases major redevelopment initiatives across the country along with turnaround of Amrapali (now Aspire) projects, the Karkardooma TOD development, Bharat Mandapam and international accomplishment of 2,000-unit mass housing project in Maldives. As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, NBCC also felicitated around 30,000 shramjeevis working across its project sites nationwide. This initiative underscores NBCC’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of construction workers. Minister, Manohar Lal in his message extended his best wishes to NBCC on its foundation day and said that in its journey spanning over six decades the company has made remarkable contributions to nation-building, urban development and the creation of modern infrastructure. He further conveyed that the company’s major projects underway in India and abroad stand as an excellent testament to its technical expertise, transparency and timely execution. Minister of State, Tokhan Sahu while conveying his greetings to NBCC through virtual mode said that NBCC through its journey has grown from an ordinary start to an inspirational organisation. He further went on to say that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minster of India, the government is looking to build a sustainable, modern and future ready Bharat and NBCC’s achievements echo this sentiment. Secretary, Srinivas Katikithala through his video message conveyed that NBCC has not only grown as an industry leader, but has also played a pivotal role in building the infrastructure that powers the growth of towns and villages into robust cities across India. He further went on to say that he looks forward to a future where NBCC's role in India's infrastructure development becomes more and more significant and its expertise in urban planning, construction and sustainable development will be a driving force in shaping India's urban future. Speaking on the occasion, K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, outlined the company’s recent achievements and its contribution to India’s development journey. He further went on to affirm the commitment of the company to further greater heights and contribute to Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision. The celebration featured cultural performances by inhouse cultural Committee “Umang”, including a ramp walk, Bollywood mash-up and dance performances by NBCC employees. The event concluded with a captivating musical performance by renowned Indian music composer and singer Amit Trivedi, which enthralled the audience.
