Police Leadership Overhaul likely in Bihar
A reshuffle involving 50–80 IPS officers is likely in Bihar, targeting Superintendents of Police (SPs) in 30+ districts and senior roles in the Bihar Police Headquarters. Emphasis will be on strengthening law and order, with new SPs in sensitive areas like Seemanchal (where AIMIM won 5 seats) and northern Bihar to curb migration-related crimes and boost women’s safety patrols.
