Kailash Makwana, DGP Madhya Pradesh, received a Distinguished Alumnus Award for his outstanding contribution towards Profession, Nation & Society and bringing Honour to the Institute MANIT. He attended the 22nd Convocation ceremony of MANIT Bhopal as Guest of Honour. Makwana addressed the august gathering, congratulated the students for receiving PhD, MTech, BTech degrees, medal holders & motivated them for their future journey in life. He emphasized that moral values, ethics, conduct is the foundation for pursuing a career in any organisation. He also announced that MP police will sign a MoU with MANIT for 'Centre of excellence in public safety' research soon. Prof TG Sitharam, Chairman AICTE was the chief guest, Director MANIT Prof KK Shukla and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion. It's noteworthy that in the last 65 years MANIT has produced brilliant engineers who excelled in India & abroad.
