General Anil Chauhan, CDS, visited the Eastern Command and addressed officers on the roadmap for modernisation, transformational reforms, jointness, self-reliance, and operational excellence in the Indian Armed Forces. He emphasised future readiness and innovation. A book titled My Pak Diary: 16 April–16 August 2025 (documenting Operation Sindoor and Indo-Pak developments) was presented to CDS by Maj Gen Balakrishnan, with a foreword endorsed by the CDS.
