10 IPS officers of AGMUT cadre promoted to IGP grade (UPDATED)
Four IPS officers of AGMUT cadre belonging to the 2008 batch, currently posted in the cadre, are promoted to the IGP grade with effect from January 1, 2026. Promoted officers are: Chinmoy Biswal, Tejinder Singh, Sanjay Kumar Tyagi and Ajay Krishan Sharma. Besides, six 2008 batch IPS officers of AGMUT cadre, currently posted on Central Deputation, are granted Proforma Promotion to the IGP grade w e f January 1, 2026. The promoted officers are: Atul Kumar Thakur, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Anto Alphones, Devender Arya, Abdul Jabbar and Udayabhaskar Billa.
