Eight IAS officers have been given new assignments in Odisha. Satyabrata Sahu is posted as Member, Board of Revenue, Cuttack, while Deoranjan Kumar Singh has been appointed as Development Commissioner-cum-ACS and Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department and will remain in additional charge of ACS, Revenue & Disaster Management, and Hemant Sharma, ACS, Industries, will also handle charge of ACS, Home. Similarly, Mrs Shubha Sarma, PS, Women & Child Development, will hold additional charge of PS, Water Resources; Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, PS, Excise, gets additional charge of PS, Forest, Environment & Climate Change; Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Co-operation Dept, will also hold charge of posts of Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha and MD, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority; Mrs Madhumita Rath is posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nayagarh and Akshay Sunil Agrawal will take over as Collector & District Magistrate, Gajapali.
