MP Tourism Board and MP Flying Club to organize Paragliding Festival (UPDATED)

With an initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, a new and thrilling chapter is being added to the state’s tourism sector. For adventure sports enthusiasts, the Tandem Paragliding Festival will be organized for the first time in Indore on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at the picturesque Korban Hills. This event will be organized jointly by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and the Madhya Pradesh Flying Club.

Secretary Tourism and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Dr. Ilaiya Raja T., stated that MP is a state enriched with immense potential for tourism, owing to its natural beauty, geographical diversity, and adventure opportunities. Events such as the Tandem Paragliding Festival will play an important role in firmly establishing the state on the national and international adventure tourism map.

Joint Director (Adventure Tourism), Dr. S. K. Shrivastava, informed that special paragliding sessions will be organized for both beginners and experienced participants. Captain Mandhar Mahajan (Chief Instructor) stated that all flights will be conducted under the supervision of certified instructors and in full compliance with international safety standards.
