NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has always carried out extensive CSR activities focused on sustainable, inclusive growth in its operational areas, especially the Cuddalore district that include free healthcare, safe drinking water, educational infrastructure development and rural development projects like desilting lakes.
In line with this, NLC India Limited, on 30.01.2026, exchanged Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the District Administration/District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) of Cuddalore for implementation of key infrastructure development projects under its CSR initiatives.
The MoUs were exchanged in the presence of Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar, IAS , District Collector, Mrs R A Priyanga, IAS, Addl. Collector (Development), DVS Narayana Murthy, Executive Director (Corporate Legal, CSR & Medical), NLCIL and officials from NLCIL and the District Administration, marking a significant step towards strengthening public infrastructure and improving the quality of life for communities in Cuddalore District.
Under these MoUs, NLCIL will provide Rs.20 Crores for the development of essential infrastructure facilities and improving skills across identified sectors, including healthcare, education, drinking water, sanitation, and other community welfare projects, in line with its core objectives and national sustainable development priorities.
The proposed projects would address the critical needs of the local population and contribute to long-term socio-economic growth in Cuddalore District.
