ITDC strengthens market position with Q3 FY 2025–26 growth (UPDATED)

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of FY 2025–26, reporting a robust performance, driven by improved operational efficiencies and higher traction across key business verticals.

During the quarter, ITDC achieved a recorded turnover, which is 54% increase over previous quarter and 28% increase of Q3 in last year, reflecting quarter-on-quarter improvement and sustained financial discipline. The results underscore steady momentum across the Corporation’s fully integrated travel, tourism and hospitality ecosystem, which is an end-to-end 360-degree model spanning hospitality, air travel, premium car/coach rentals, event management, duty free operations, tourism infrastructure engineering and capacity building in hospitality sector.

Q3 FY 2025–26 witnessed positive traction across core focus areas, particularly event management, travel & tours, MICE, weddings and institutional catering, reinforcing ITDC’s evolving role as a comprehensive tourism services provider. The Corporation also strengthened technology integration and data-led decision-making, with focused efforts towards digital systems, analytics and customer-centric service delivery.

Commenting on the results, Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, ITDC, said, “As ITDC advances into the next phase of its growth journey, coinciding with the Corporation’s 60th year of operations and 70 years of The Ashok, it continues to prioritise strategic transformation, digital enablement, asset optimisation and  sustainability -led practices. These initiatives are expected to support improved efficiencies, enhance stakeholders value and long-term sustainable growth, aligned with the Government’s vision for tourism development. ITDC’s  quarter-on-quarter improvement is driven by strengthened operational planning, sharper business alignment and an increased emphasis on personalised and integrated service delivery, while focussing on optimising asset performance and driving demand-led growth.
