Transfers of High Court Judges in Public Interest
The Union Government reiterated in the Lok Sabha that all High Court judge transfers are made in the public interest, initiated by the Chief Justice of India in consultation with senior Supreme Court judges. This was in response to queries on executive interference, emphasizing the Memorandum of Procedure (MoP).
