IPS Siddharth Goyal ,a 2019 Batch Officer of Karnataka cadre and currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Bagalkote District is focused on communal harmony and maintaining peace through community-driven approach.

Recognising the district’s sensitive social fabric, his strategy goes beyond traditional policing and emphasizes trust, dialogue, and prevention.

At the heart of it lies a simple idea that peace must be community-led and long lasting. “Peace has to be community-initiated, not just enforced through force.” He quoted .Instead of relying solely on force, he is bringing neutral and members of society onto common platforms to foster dialogue and reduce tensions

One part of the effort is also keeping an eye on social media, where misinformation or provocative content can quickly create unrest. Additionally there is also an attempt to spread more positive messaging.

Beyond monitoring, the strategy also involves strict enforcement. When incidents do occur, action is taken against those responsible .
