Ministry of Defence Signed Rs ,950 cr Contract With BEL
The Ministry of Defence signed a Rs 1,950 crore capital acquisition contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for two indigenously designed DRDO (Electronics & Radar Development Establishment) Mountain Radars (with equipment and infrastructure) for the IAF. These 300 km-range radars will plug surveillance gaps in mountainous terrain, integrate with IACCCS, and reduce foreign dependency.
