Hindustan Copper’s Historic FY26: Revenue Up 49%, Profit Nearly Doubles (UPDATED)

India’s only copper miner, Hindustan Copper Limited, has delivered its strongest financial performance ever in FY26, with Profit Before Tax soaring 95% to a record ₹1,232.73 crore.

The company also posted its highest-ever Revenue from Operations at ₹3,077.92 crore, marking a sharp 49% jump from the previous fiscal. Profit After Tax nearly doubled as well, rising 97% to ₹920.67 crore, reflecting strong operational momentum and higher sales realization.

Operationally, HCL recorded:

  • 3.67 million tonnes of ore production (+6% YoY)
  • 27,421 tonnes of Metal in Concentrate production (+9%)
  • 27,369 tonnes copper MIC sales (+12%)

The EBITDA margin strengthened significantly to 48.7%, underlining improved efficiency and profitability.

The Board, meeting in Kolkata, also recommended a final dividend for FY26 in addition to the interim dividend already paid in March 2026, while reviewing ambitious expansion plans under the company’s Corporate Plan 2030.
