Nine senior IPS officers have been given new assignments in UP. Jai Narayan Singh has been appointed as DGP, EOW, while Dhruv Kant Thakur will join as DGP/Commandant General, Home Guard, with additional charge of DGP, Civil Security. Similarly, Binod Kumar Singh has been posted as DGP, CID and given additional charge of DGP, Cyber Crime and DGP, Dial-112; Alok Singh as DGP, PAC Headquarters with additional charge of DGP, Special Protection Force; Mrs Anupam Kulshrestha as ADGP, Kanpur Zone; A Satish Ganesh as ADGP, Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety with additional charge of ADGP, Crime; Dr R K Swarnkar as ADGP, UP Power Corporation, Lucknow; S K Bhagat as ADGP, Agra Zone and Mrs Gita Singh will take charge as IGP, Directorate of Training.
