J Kumar, who was formerly serving as Assistant Executive Engineer (AXEN), Southern Railway, has been granted extension of deputation tenure with Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) as Deputy General Manager (Track) for the fifth year, which is up to May 11, 2027. He is a Group ‘B’ officer of the Civil Engineering Department.
