In a major administrative rejig, Kerala govt transfers 47 IAS officers (UPDATED)

The new Kerala govt under Chief Minister V.D. Satheeshan effected a major administrative reshuffle on Monday transferring 47 IAS officers. Those affected include Biswanath Sinha (IAS-1992) Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Vigilance who has been relieved of the additional charge of ACS, Coastal Shipping and Inland Navigation. Sinha has been entrusted with the additional charges of Coir development department and housing  department.

K.R. Jyothilal (IAS-1993) ACS, Finance Department has been entrusted with the additional charge of Planning and Economic Affairs and Member Secretary, Kerala Planning Board. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the taxes department, rebuild Kerala initiative and public procurement advisory department.

Puneet Kumar (IAS-1993), Resident Commissioner, Kerala House, Delhi has been relieved of all additional charges.

Dr. Rajan N. Khobragade (IAS 1993) ACS, Health and Family Welfare has been relieved of the additional charge of ACS Cultural Affairs (Archaeology, Achieves & Museums) department, Personnel and Administrative Reforms department. He will continue to hold the additional charge of ACS, AYUSH department.

Minhaj Alam (IAS-1966) CMD, Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd to ACS, Sports and Youth Affairs, Soos, Museums, Archaeology and Archives departments. He has been relieved of the charge of Wildlife, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development departments.

Dr. Raju Narayanaswamy (IAS 1997) Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs department to PS, Sainik Welfare department.

Dr Sharmila Mary Joseph (IAS-1997) Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development department to PS, Health and Family Welfare. She will also hold the additional charge of the Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department.

Mrs. Tinku Biswal (IAS-1997) Principal Secretary, Local Self Govt and Director General Institute of Management has been relieved of the charge of Agriculture department.

B. Ashok (IAS-1998) on reinstatement into service has been posted as Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department.

Dr. Ratan U. Kelkar (IAS-2003) Secretary to Chief Minister has been entrusted with the additional charge of Coastal Shipping and Inland Navigation, Information and Public Relations and department for Elderly Welfare.

Biju K. (IAS 2006) Secretary, PWD to Secretary, Forests and Wildlife department. He has been entrusted with the additional charge of Skill development and Cashew, GAD and Tourism departments.

N. Prashanth (IAS-2007) on reinstatement into service has been posted as Special Secretary, Sports Department. He will hold the additional charge of Special Secretary, Youth Affairs, Zoos, Museum, Archaeology and Archives departments.

M.G. Rajamanickam (IAS-2008) Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management to Chairman and MD Kerala State Electricity Board.

Mrs. T.V. Anupama (IAS-2010) Secretary, Local Self Govt to Secretary, Transport Department. She will also hold the additional charge of Airports, Metro Rail, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Departments among others.

Jeevan Babu K. (IAS-2011) Commissioner, Land Revenue to Special Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management department.

Suhas S. (IAS-2012) MD, Road and Bridges Development Corporation and Special Officer for Wayanad Township to Special Secretary, Water Resources.

Seeram Sambasiva Rao (IAS-2012), Excise Commissioner has been relieved of his additional charge of Special Secretary, Environment Department and Director, Survey and Land Records department.

Dr. Adeela Abdulla (IAS-2012), Special Secretary, Social Justice Department to PWD.

Abdul Nasar B. (IAS 2012) Special Secretary, Fisheries department has been entrusted with the additional charge of Harbour Engineering and Social Justice departments.

Dr. D. Sajith Babu (IAS-2012) Registrar, Co-operative Societies to Special Secretary, General Education department and will hold the additional charge of Minority Welfare department. He has been relieved of the charge of State Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission.

Gopalkrishnan K. (IAS02013) MD, Vyttila Mobility Hub Society to Director, Environment and Climate Change. He has been entrusted with the additional charge ofDirector, ANERT and MD, Kerala State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank.

Mrs. Anjana M. (IAS-2013) Director, Tourism has been entrusted with the additional charge of NORKA and S&T departments.

H. Dineshan (IAS-2014), Project Director, Kerala Solid Waste Management Project to Principal Director, Local Self Govt. She will hold the additional charge of Project Director, Kerala Solid Waste Management Project and State Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission. He has been relieved of the charge of MD, Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited and Director, Cultural Affairs departments.

Mrs. Afsana Perween (IAS 2014) Commissioner, Food Safety to Director, Collegiate Education with additional charge of Controller of Entrance Examinations.
