FSIB invites applications for MD & CEO, UCO Bank

The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), which handles the selection of senior executives for public sector banks and financial institutions, has invited applications for the post of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) in UCO Bank on a full-time basis.


Candidates should be at least 45 years of age and have a minimum of three years of residual service, treating 60 years as the age of superannuation, as on the date of vacancy, June 1, 2026. Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.


For candidates from the private sector, a minimum of 21 years of experience is required, including at least 15 years of banking experience and either two years at the bank Board level or three years at the highest level below the Board on a substantive basis.


For candidates from public sector banks, eligibility is limited to Deputy Managing Directors (DMDs) of State Bank of India with at least one year of service as DMD, Executive Directors (EDs) of nationalised banks with at least one year of service as ED, and Managing Directors & CEOs of nationalised banks with at least one year in the present post and a minimum residual service of two years. Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs), except the CVO of UCO Bank, are also eligible to apply.
