Fifteen IPS officers have been reshuffled in Tamil Nadu. D Kannan has been appointed as DCP, HQ and Administration, Tambaram, while A Velmurugan joins as SP/AIG, Modernisation, O/o DGP/HoPF, Chennai. Further, G Stalin is now DCP, Central Crime Branch, Tambaram; D Ramesh Babu will take charge as SP, ATS, Chennai; V V Geethanjali as DCP, Crimes Against Women and Children, Greater Chennai; P Sundaravadivel as DCP, Security, Greater Chennai; R Ramesh Krishnan as DCP, North, Tiruppur City; K Maheswari as DCP, Redhills, Avadi and R Uthayakumar will be posted as SP, Tiruvannamalai District.

Similarly, A C Karthikeyan is appointed as DCP, Adyar, Greater Chennai; Kunal Uttam Shrote is promoted to the rank of SP and posted as DCP, Koyambedu, Greater Chennai. Besides, Anshul Nagar and Arpita Rajput are also promoted as SP and posted as DCP, West, Tirunelveli City and SP, North Zone, Crime Branch. CID, Chennai respectively, while Banavath Arvind is posted as DCP, North, Trichy City following promotion.
