EC appoints 10 IAS officers as observers to oversee SIR process in Odisha (UPDATED)

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has named 10 senior IAS officers as Electoral Roll Observers for Odisha to oversee the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Those officers appointed as observers are as follows-

Rajesh Prabhakar Patil (IAS Odisha: 2005), Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govt., Co-operation Dept has been assigned the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Jajpur.

Aravind Agrawal (IAS Odisha: 2007), Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the Higher Education Department – Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj districts.

Balwant Singh (IAS Odisha: 2007), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Tourism Department, Odisha – Kalahandi, Balangir and Nuapada districts.

B. Parameswaran (IAS Odisha: 2008), Commissioner-cum- Secretary to Government, ST&SC Development, M&BCW Department Odisha – Subarnapur, Boudh and Kandhamal districts.

Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya (IAS Odisha: 2009), Secretary, Odia Language Literature and Culture Department – Deogarh, Sambalpur and Bargarh districts.

D. Prasanna Kumar Reddy (IAS Odisha: 2009) – Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts.

Sudhanshu Mohan Samal (IAS Odisha: 2010), Managing Director of the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Limited – Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Angul districts.

Rashmita Panda (IAS Odisha: 2010), Director, Employment- cum-CEO, OSDA, Bhubaneswar – Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh and Bhubaneswar districts.

Mohammed Sadique Alam (IAS Odisha: 2010), Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Public Enterprises Department – Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts.

Sangram Keshari Mahapatra (IAS Odisha: 2012), Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) for the Southern Division of Odisha – Keonjhar, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda.
