As many as 17 IAS officers have been given new assignments in Himachal Pradesh. Onkar Chand Sharma, ACS, Tribal Development, Ropeways and Road Transport System Development Corporation, has been given additional charge of ACS, Transport Department, while Ms M Sudha Devi will take charge as Principal Secretary, Forests and Industries besides PS, Personnel Department. 

Similarly, R D Nazeem is shifted as ACS, Home, Vigilance, Power, Non-Conventional Energy and Multi-Purpose Projects; Ashish Singhmar, Secretary to the Chief Minister (II), has been assigned additional charge of Health and Family Welfare Department; Devesh Kumar, PS, Urban Development and PS, Finance, gets additional charge of Animal Husbandry Department; Priyanka Basu Ingty will handle the additional charge of Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department; Yunus, Director, Industries, will also hold charge of Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise; Sandeep Kumar is posted as Secretary, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Rakesh Kumar Prajapati joins as Director, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Further, Dr. Madhu Chaudhary has been appointed as Special Secretary, Health with additional charge of CEO, Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana; Om Kant Thakur as Director-cum-Warden of Fisheries, Bilaspur; Abhishek Kumar Garg as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Project Director, Hamirpur; Gursimar Singh as MD, State Industrial Development Corporation, Shimla, and MD, General Industries Corporation, Shimla; Gursimar Singh as Director, Technical Education, Sundernagar, with additional charge of MD, Skill Development Corporation, Sundernagar; Vivek Chandel as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Baddi, Solan and Ashwani Kumar Sharma is now Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise.
