It has been a history of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) that it never skipped timely promotion of workforce from Artisan to General Manager level every year on June 25. But this year, there is no whisper in the corridor about the promotion and DPC meetings. The employees and officers are worried about promotion and are of the view that COVID-19 might queer the pitch of promotion. But sources said that the BHEL has returned to normalcy with workforce at offices as well as factory units and pinned the hopes on timely promotion.
