First IAS with Medical degree to take charge as Secretary, NMC
Dr Sandhya Bhullar, first IAS officer with MBBS degree, taking over as Secretary, National Medical Commission (NMC) next week . Dr Bhullar is a 2003 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. Posting of an IAS officer with Medical degree in the NMC is considered significant.
