In a major administrative reshuffle, as many as 15 IAS officers in UP have been handed over new responsibilities. Accordingly, Anuj Jha has been posted as Director, Panchayati Raj, while Andra Vamsi was made MD, Skill Development Mission and Kunal Silku is now MD, PCBF. Similarly, V K Singh will be posted as Commissioner, Rural Development; Ujjwal Kumar as Special Secretary, IT; Arvind Chaurasia as Special Secretary, Housing; Gyan Prakash Tripathi as Special Secretary, PWD; Devendra Pandey as Special Secretary, APC Branch; Sheshmani Pandey as Special Secretary, Handloom; A Dinesh Kumar as Special Secretary, Urban Development; Prashant Kumar as Special Secretary, Small Industries Department; Abhishek Singh as Special Secretary, Vocational Education and Rishirendra Kumar is now Special Secretary, Agriculture Department. Besides, transfer orders of 2 IAS officers have been cancelled. Arun Kumar will remain as DM of Amethi and his transfer to Mau has been cancelled, while Seshmani Pandey, Secretary Handloom, who was shifted as DM, Amethi, will remain in his earlier post.
