Rahul Gandhi's research team is using AI tools like Gemini and Perplexity?

Sources suggest that Rahul Gandhi's research team is increasingly utilizing advanced AI tools like Perplexity and Google's Gemini to process and analyze vast amounts of electoral data. These AI-powered platforms enable the team to efficiently collate complex datasets—such as voter rolls, deletion applications, and photographic evidence—into coherent, comprehensible formats that can be used for strategic decision-making and public presentation. This technological integration marks a significant evolution in Congress's approach, allowing rapid identification of patterns like duplicate voter entries or fraudulent registrations which would be difficult to detect manually.
By leveraging AI's capabilities, Gandhi's research team, led by figures like Praveen Chakravarty and Alankar Sawai, can transform raw data into actionable intelligence. This streamlines the preparation of high-impact exposés, such as the "H-Files," and enhances communication
efforts by simplifying technically dense information for public dissemination. The use of AI thus not only augments data accuracy but also amplifies Congress's ability to challenge electoral malpractices effectively in near real-time, reflecting a modern blend of political strategy and cutting-edge technology.
New Trends in Bihar Polls

The first phase of the Bihar elections has set the tone for a transformed campaign and voter narrative, one that blends digital strategy with social undercurrents of vocal discontent.
The most visible shift is the move away from traditional door-to-door canvassing toward sharply targeted social media campaigns. Parties are relying on micro videos, local influencers, and data-backed outreach to influence specific communities, an adaptation driven by both cost and the growing online political engagement in semi-urban Bihar.
Equally notable is the evolution of the Bihar voter — no longer quietly dissatisfied but outspoken about governance failures and opposition weaknesses alike. Village-level conversations, often captured on reels and WhatsApp groups, reveal a politically aware electorate unafraid to express political fatigue or disappointment.
A third striking trend is the growing sympathy for unemployed youth. Once viewed as passive dependents, they are now seen as victims of a jobless economy and systemic neglect. This empathy has reframed the political conversation from blame to accountability. As the next phases unfold, these patterns — digital micro-targeting, vocal voter expression, and youth-centric narratives — are likely to deepen, shaping not just Bihar’s polls but future state campaigns across India.

Jharkhand government has appointed 1994 batch IPS officer Tadasha Mishra as the new Director General of Police. Now, she holds the credit of being the first woman to become the acting DGP of the state. Her tenure, however, will be brief as she is scheduled to retire on December 31, 2025. Earlier, the previous DGP Anurag Gupta had also assumed charge as acting DGP of Jharkhand on July 26, 2024. There are chances that Mishra will get an extension. Mishra has taken over the charge as Jharkhand's acting Director General of Police (DGP).

The voluntary retirement (VR) of the former DGP Anurag Gupta has triggered discussions in the bureaucratic circle over the justification behind his resignation. Gupta was known as one of the most influential faces in Jharkhand Police in recent years. He was retained on the post even after his retirement. The central government had rejected the state government’s decision to extend tenure beyond retirement and issued a letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, stating that the decision to retain Anurag Gupta as DGP beyond his retirement date was incorrect. According to the central government, he officially retired on April 30, 2025. Gupta had assumed charge as in-charge DGP of Jharkhand but was removed from the post by the Election Commission of India (ECI) during the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Following the election results, he was reinstated as in-charge DGP on November 28, 2024, after the Hemant Soren government returned to power with a thumping majority. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, Babulal Marandi has filed a PIL in the court , terming Anurag Gupta’s appointment as unconstitutional.

In bureaucratic circles- from Delhi to Patna- whispering has started -who will be the chief secretary if Mahagathpandhan comes to power ? Sources maintain that the new Chief Secretary could be an IAS officer from the 1991 batch. But the question - who will be that lucky officer?

The National Green Tribunal (NGT), mandated to ensure effective environmental adjudication, is grappling with a serious human resource and financial crunch that is hampering the execution of its existing orders. Several regional benches are functioning with limited judicial and expert members, leading to delays in hearings and enforcement. The shortage of administrative staff and technical experts has also reduced the Tribunal’s capacity to monitor compliance with its directives on pollution control, waste management, and forest protection. Financial constraints further compound the problem, restricting the NGT’s ability to conduct field inspections or hire qualified experts for complex cases. Despite its proactive judgments, the lack of institutional support has weakened follow-through on many orders, especially at the local implementation level. The situation highlights the urgent need for adequate budgetary allocation and staffing to strengthen the NGT’s role in ensuring environmental justice across India.

India’s upcoming trade negotiations with Peru and Chile mark an important step in expanding its economic footprint in Latin America. The India-Peru talks, scheduled for January 2026 in New Delhi, have made substantial progress on crucial areas such as critical minerals, which are vital for India’s technology and green energy sectors. Concurrently, India and Chile have concluded their third round of discussions for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) aimed at boosting bilateral trade, investment, and market access. Strengthening engagement with resource-rich Latin American economies supports India’s diversification strategy, reducing dependence on traditional partners and securing supply chains for essential minerals. The Indian delegation in both negotiations is being led by Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce and Chief Negotiator for the agreements, underscoring India’s push to forge deeper trade linkages and strategic economic partnerships across emerging global markets.

India is taking decisive steps to secure supply of critical minerals that power our microchips, batteries, electric vehicles, drive clean energy, AI systems, semiconductor, AI technologies. However, these are mostly locked up in rocks that need specialized mineral processing for extraction. With its unique expertise in hard rock mining, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is one of the few companies ideally placed to make a foray in the critical mineral sector and provide valuable service to our nation. In line with this vision, HCL is looking beyond the frontiers. In tune, HCL organized an International Seminar on Critical and Strategic Minerals for Viksit Bharat @ 2047, in Kolkata on 9th November, 2025, to celebrate its 59th Foundation Day. The event was graced by the presence of a host of foreign dignitaries, diplomats, mining stalwarts and delegates. Reforms in MoD
The best way to reform the MoD is to integrate the armed forces and the MoD together by amending the Transaction for Business Rules, 1961 - which keeps both entities separate. Additionally, we must focus on expanding the powers of the CDS to provide a greater emphasis on inter-service jointness.

Bihar –if RJD comes to power “Bureaucracy”
This post has no journalistic integrity. It gives no real sources, makes vague claims sound like facts and uses double standards by attacking only RJD while ignoring that NDA does the same. It confuses 'merit' with old caste privilege and skips over the fact that the constitution allows such policies even the Patna High Court upheld them in 2024.. without clear evidence or fair standards. This looks like biased political propaganda, not genuine analysis. I’m not supporting RJD. But this post clearly isn’t objective.

Comments
The Hon’ble Bombay High court at Goa in the matter of Dr. Celsa Pinto vs. Goa State Information Commission (W.P. No. 419 of 2007, decision dated 03.04.2008), held that the definition of information cannot include within its fold answers to the question "why" which would be same thing as asking the reason for a justification for a particular thing. The public information authorities cannot be expected to communicate to the citizen the reason why a certain thing was done or not done in the sense of a justification because the citizen makes a requisition about information. Justifications are matter within the domain of adjudicating authorities and cannot properly be classified as information.
